A wicked change of pace at the show last week. We had another one of india's top Dj's - Dj Dev (whose rated in the top 5 djs in India under theDjList.com!) - spin a real twisted and fresh set for us right here at Beats From The East. Dev has been mixing it up for the last 5 years - where he initially started off by releasing bollywood and bhangra bootleg remix albums which started getting some serious attention and since then he's had the opportunity to mix for top bhangra and international acts such as the Bilz, Tigerstyle, H Dhami & Jay Sean to name a few. He also has some original production work that has been released - check out his latest - Dream Island .
The sounds in this set ranged from fresh club hits such as Aloo Chat, Jai Ho and Pardesi to some serious bollywood and bhangra reproduced hits such as Dhoor, Ni Nachle & Sadke Jave. There were also some great house and hip hop tracks that were reproduced by him in there as well.
