Tigerstyle's never ending hit - Kawan is not officially up for downloads. It was a free download on their website - and its the remix version as well. No doubt that the original has a completely different theme tied up in the track but its good to hear a remix done by the actual producers!
This is a drum n' bass version of the track - which is not like standard drum n bass remixes, in a sense that they don't really mess about with the lyrics too much and still manage to keep the tune in sync! Check out the mix here! Also be sure to check their website to hear samples of other stuff that they have produced - trust me , its worth the listen. They also have a myspace page thats worth looking into as well. Whats funny is that they are from Scotland - where the whole bhangra and Asian fusion scene has only recently come up - but like 5 years ago imagine the struggle to be producing bhangra beats and Asian fusion tracks all the way up in Scotland! Will probably post another entry just on them and how they've come up and established the Tigerstyle label!
